The Jaipuri block printing technique has been used for centuries; it is passed down from generation to generation. Wooden blocks of 18-24cm are hand-carved with the design, then dipped in natural dyes and printed on cotton fabric. The colors are stamped one by one by skilled artisans, and the subtle overlaps of the stamps are a reminder of the handmade craft's beauty.
